JUICY BBQ BEEF COMPANY SANDWICHES

2-3/4 to 3-1/4 hours

Ingredients

2 beef flank steaks (about 12 oz each)
2 tsp olive oil
1 can (14 to 14-1/2 oz) beef broth
2 - 3 cloves minced garlic
1-1/2 cups Kinders Organic Mild Barbeque Sauce and add or your favorite barbecue sauce (optional add 1/4 cup spicy barbeque for more kick )


6 Rolls, split in half

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in skillet or stockpot over medium heat until hot; brown the beef flank steaks. Sprinkle with McCormick’s Montreal Seasoning or salt and pepper.

  2. Add beef broth and garlic; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover tightly and simmer 2 to 2-1/2 hours or until beef is fork-tender. For Crock Pot cooking transfer from skillet to a crock pot for slow cooking 8 hrs on low, 6 hrs on High .

  3. Check meat for tenderness . Remove meat ; cool slightly. Skim fat; reserve cooking liquid for flavor . Shred flank steaks with 2 forks . It should shred easily when ready .

  4. Combine beef and barbecue sauce in saucepan. Cook and stir over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes, adding cooking liquid as needed to keep beef moist. Serve on your favorite rolls or you’ll just have to ask Mom to make some .
