How do I purchase a 1/4 1/2 or whole Beef?
Make your deposit online
Final Payment is due once your beef weight is determined and the invoice will be sent to your email.
Choose your cuts of meat. The butcher will give you a call for any 1/2 or whole beef cuts 1/4 beef has a precut list
Pick up your Beef approximately 10-15 days.
How much does Circle B Island Beef cost?
Our 2025 beef price is at $6.50 per pound hanging weight. The processing cost will depend on which butcher we select for processing we currently work with two processors.
A 300 lb of hanging beef is $1950 owed to the farm. The harvest fee as well as the cutting and wrapping depending on the cuts can be around $400.
How do I pay for the beef?
Circle B Island Beef will contact you on the butcher date or the day after with your beef's exact hanging weight and cost. You may then pay for your beef by cash, check, or credit card. ALL payment for beef MUST be received before you pick up your beef at the processing plant.
How long is the beef dry-aged?
The beef is dry-aged anywhere from 7 -14 days depending on the animal.
How much freezer space do I need?
For every 25 pounds of packaged beef, you will need about 1 cubic foot of freezer space. So if you order a quarter of beef, you need about 4-5 cubic feet; for a half of a beef, you’ll need about 10 cubic feet.

What breed of beef do you sell?
We hand-select Red Angus steers that will be approximately 2 years of age or under when they are processed.
When is your beef available for purchase?
Each year we sell a limited supply of beef that is ready at processing. We take orders on a first-come, first-served basis. We have butcher dates in spring and in the Fall.
Can I have grain-finished beef?
Yes, we can finish your beef this way. This makes for a deeper flavor and more marbling. We only accept a limited number per year and add cost per pound of beef. This is an add-on.
